As far as usage or practical value, they are useless. First off, they’re no match to the IAF superior counterpart aircraft and support systems (radars etc.). The maintenance is also very very expensive.

The money would be better spent acquiring/maintaining fire fighting helos to deal with the mountain fires in the summer.
