I’m certainly no authority but obvious omissions here include:

On the fiction side:

Might be worth noting that Kassir’s ‘Beirut’ is now available in English.

Finally, as a suggestion, could you name any books specifically dealing with the ideologies of various Lebanese parties? I found Saad-Ghorayeb’s volume on Hizbullah useful. But are there any works in English detailing the intellectual foundations of e.g. Kata’eb; SSNP; Amal; PSP thought (to the extent that they may be so described…)?

I think the best thing to do, in the long run, is to organize the bibliography thematically. When I find some time, I’ll do it.

This is a brilliant initiative, but I’d really appreciate it if the bibliography could also be arranged more thematically. Perhaps add a couple of keywords or something to each entry? It can be hard to tell from the title why a particular book is so great.

Here is link to silesian library in Katowice I on Keyword Liban- polish name of Lebanon so maybe you can add more books some of them are translated from russian or english but more interesting for you maybe polish guide book about Beirut from 1946 you can find it under Bejrut- polish name of Beirut. They make mistake and place Green book written by Muammar Qadafi in Liban section
